WHO ARE WE?
The Chinese Association Tricking Team, or CATT, is a martial arts tricking community founded in 2017 at the University of California, Irvine. Tricking is a new, non-combative, dynamic sport that incorporates elements of martial arts, gymnastics, and breaking into a performance-focused art form.
OUR CORE VALUES
INCLUSIVITY: Tricking is a sport for all ages, genders, races, religions, and sexualities. Anyone is welcome in our movement community.OPEN-MINDEDNESS: It takes an open mind to explore the unorthodox movements within the modern sport of tricking. The sky is not even the limit.
TOUGHNESS: Pushing the traditional limits of the human body requires hard work and determination. We put in maximum effort.SAFETY: Tricking requires precision. Our group has developed the proper drills and prerequisites to ensure safety is kept to a high regard.
